Creative Works Counseling is located on the ancestral land of the Wabanaki people.
Carmine (they/them) works closely with their clients to nurture and protect their minds and bodies navigating systems of oppression. Carmine offers therapeutic creative modalities as an act of rebellion against these systems and helps the client emphasize their own autonomy and strengths while also recognizing that we cannot heal in isolation.
Carmine is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), grief counseling, and is licensed provisional art therapist. Carmine collaborates with clients using these modalities to process trauma, connect with the physical body, and find meaning and new storylines about themselves.
Carmine is proud to serve their fellow LGBTQI+ community and collaborates with teens and adults individually, or as part of couples and group therapy.
