I’m a proud graduate of Duke University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Knowledgeable on how HRT and gender affirming surgeries affect the musculoskeletal, integumentary, and lymphatic system.
I specialize in treating chronic pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, and vestibular disorders but can help with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
I emphasize utilizing a holistic approach using the biopsychosocial model of care and I value finding community in all aspects of life including in your healthcare. I use a shared decision making model when developing a plan of care to maximize outcomes and make your process of healing as achievable as possible.
I’m currently opening my own private clinic in Downtown Raleigh that will initially be out of network, however I will utilize a sliding payment scale for those who may not be able to afford cash based services as a cornerstone of my practice is social responsibility in the context of my belief that everyone has a right to healthcare.
If you need care, I hope I have the opportunity to work with you!
I came to Casey about a month ago with chronic bilateral shoulder pain and neck pain. Over the course of our PT sessions Casey was detailed in her explanation of the muscle groups and helped me to understand where the pain was coming from while also setting up a plan for me that was reasonable and easy to keep up with at home. I am in shock that a month later I do not wake up in pain or experience pain from manual massage. One of my goals is to be able to get a deep tissue massage without being in tears and I feel closer to that goal everyday! Casey was very attentive during our sessions and always made me laugh. She is kindhearted and genuinely cares for the patients she works with and their wellbeing. I appreciate Casey’s knowledge, patience, and care while on this journey to healing and would definitely recommend!
Genuinely one of the best physical therapists I have ever had! I’ve been in physical therapy for about five years for a variety of issues, but it always seemed like a never-ending cycle or episode of a Grey’s Anatomy. After a few weeks with Casey, I’ve seen major improvements in my mobility and pain. Not to mention, my primary care physician wanted to personally thank them for doing such an amazing job, recommending effective pain medications, and providing precise assessments. 10/10 would always recommend (or 5/5 if you’re into fractions).
I suffer from a chronically stiff neck that causes headaches when left untreated. For the past year, Casey has been working to increase mobility and reduce tension in my neck, which has drastically decreased the number of headaches I get. She can even subdue a headache when I first feel it coming on! I had no idea that physical therapy could treat headaches and migraines, but I am definitely a believer now. She also worked wonders on an old ankle injury I have, the constant pain of which was contributing to tension in my neck. She understands the entire body and how many things can impact tension, headaches, and migraines. I can’t recommend Casey enough!
Casey is an outstanding physical therapist who combines expertise with genuine care. Caseys warm and open nature made me feel welcome and comfortable while they listened to my concerns. Each session was tailored to my needs, and Casey’s clear explanations and encouragement were invaluable.
I highly recommend Casey to anyone seeking effective and compassionate physical therapy. Their dedication to patient care is truly exceptional.
