Hello! I’m Constance. My approach is collaborative and trauma competent. As a queer and neurodivergent social worker who values lived experience, I am attentive to how systems impact our access to safety and resources. I strive to practice in ways that move beyond stigmatizing models of care and honor that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I prefer to blend approaches, such as EMDR, IFS, Expressive Arts, ACT, Relational Therapy, Sensorimotor, and Psychoeducation.
I practice non-carcerally and value harm reduction as someone who understands that patterns develop within the contexts we exist in. The systems in which we live, work, and love so often perpetuate and encourage cycles of violence whether that’s through exploitation of labor, minimization or erasure of identity, or direct harm and more. I particularly attune to complex inner worlds affected by prolonged wounding that required high levels of dissociation to survive, and with those who experience themselves as AuDHD, Autistic, or ADHD.
I have several advanced trainings in EMDR, including 3 Levels of IFS-Informed EMDR with the Syzygy Institute, Avoidance in EMDR Therapy with EMDR Consulting, am currently working toward EMDR certification, and am completing the final iteration of the Advanced Certificate in Dissociation Studies for EMDR Therapists with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness.
If you’re looking for deeper exploration into patterned responses and inner conflict or any of this resonates with you, we may be a great match! I am here for the messy “it gets worse before it gets better” stuff. Are you ready? Please see my website for more information.
