Hello! My name is Delaney Reid (she / her) and I am a Limited Licensed Master of Social Work who identifies at Lesbian!

I am place a strong emphasis on building an open and collaborative relationship with each client to develop trust and a good working relationship in the therapeutic setting. I find it crucial to recognize that each client is unique and the expert on their own life. In my practice, I utilize evidence-based practices that best fit each individual client based on their needs, strengths, and challenges.

I attended Michigan State University for the entirety of my college education, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Master’s of Clinical Social Work. I have experience in Motivational Interviewin, Somatic – based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapy, and other related areas.

I have experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes and transitions, among other related struggles. I also have a dedication to working with LGBTQ+ clients and creating a safe space for individuals to explore whatever they would like in our sessions together.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my loved ones and my cat (named October, Toby for short), listen to music, read a good book, write, and watch horror movies!
