As a gay practitioner with backgrounds in clinical psychotherapy, health and wellness coaching, bodywork, and energy healing, I bring an integrated, LGBTQ+-affirming approach to care. While I was pursuing my master’s in social work, I completed my clinical psychotherapy internship in LGBT-affirmative psychotherapy at the Institute for Human Identity in New York, one of the oldest LGBTQ+ mental health organizations in the country. There, I received specialized training in gender and sexual identity development, internalized homophobia and transphobia, queer family systems, and trauma-informed care specific to LGBTQ+ individuals.
I now work through a non-clinical somatic and mindfulness coaching lens, taking clients through my board certification as a health and wellness coach. I offer alternatives to the medical model for clients seeking healing that is non-pathologizing, holistic, embodied, and forward-focused. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ individuals navigating the aftereffects of complex trauma, codependency, religious abuse, or narcissistic dynamics. I help clients work through shame, rediscover self-trust, and reconnect to a sense of wholeness using mindfulness coaching, emotional release bodywork, breathwork, and nervous system regulation techniques.
My practice is rooted in values of anti-normativity, anti-colonialism, anti-oppression, consent, authenticity, and self-liberation. I provide trauma-informed care to LGBTQ+ clients across the gender and sexuality spectrum, including nonbinary and transgender individuals. Sessions are available virtually across the U.S. and in person in Brooklyn, New York. My services are self-pay with sliding scale availability to support accessibility.
Whether you’re looking to process identity wounds, heal from queer-specific trauma, or simply build a life that feels aligned and alive, I’d be honored to support you.
