I am a queer social worker committed to expanding access to high-quality, affirming health care for LGBTQIA+ people. I have received extensive training from the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center and the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health.
I provide letters in support of gender-affirming care. I believe in your ability to know yourself, your identity, and what you need. I’d like to partner with you to talk through the requirements of these letters, how your experience fits with those requirements, and how I can write a letter that meets your needs and is authentic to who you are. I follow WPATH Standards of Care, Version 7. I am also able to assist with name and gender marker changes on identity documents, as well as connection with any support or community resources that may be helpful.
Therapy with me is grounded in safety, non-judgment, and affirmation of your authentic self. Resilience–our ability to adapt and grow through adversity and trauma–can be learned like any other skill. We’ll make space to process the harm you shouldn’t have to navigate, and we will identify and build on your strengths to grow your practice of resilience. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults with depression, other mood disorders, self-harm, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, ADHD, body image concerns for people in larger bodies, chronic illness, trauma, relationship concerns, and identity development.
