As a second-generation Asian American and queer-affirming psychotherapist, I strive to create an inclusive, compassionate, and collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome, especially the ones that have felt silenced, shamed, or unseen.
I offer a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with curiosity and compassion. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, multicultural framework, because I know that our relationships, with family, partners, culture, and self, shape so much of how we move through the world. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folks, and anyone navigating the complexities of intersectional identities. As a clinician trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I support queer couples and relationships of all structures in building deeper emotional connection and secure attachment. I also have experience supporting clients through the coming out process, gender identity exploration, and family-of-origin challenges.
My commitment to LGBTQ+ care is grounded in both lived experience and professional training. I have completed continuing education and workshops on gender-affirming care, minority stress, kink and poly-affirming therapy, and internalized oppression within LGBTQ+ communities.
Before transitioning into private practice, I worked in university counseling, hospital settings, and community-based organizations, settings that sharpened my sensitivity to systemic barriers, cultural stigma, and the nuanced needs of marginalized communities.
Whether you’re seeking support for mental health, navigating identity, or looking for a therapist who truly sees and celebrates you, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
