I am a bisexual, transgender man who grew up in the Ohio Valley and pursued psychology in order to help others be able to find a provider they feel could more closely understand their experiences as an LGBTQIA+ individual. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships in a supportive and affirming environment. I provide an empathetic, judgment-free space where clients can share their stories openly, better understand themselves, and identify meaningful steps toward the life they want to build. I believe there is strength in vulnerability, self-acceptance, and making meaningful connections with others.

I work with adults and have experience working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders through both psychotherapy and psychological evaluation services. I have a particular interest in supporting transgender and gender-diverse individuals in accessing affirming mental health care and navigating their individual journeys. I have training and experience providing mental health letters of support for gender-affirming care. We will work together to identify goals and determine how I can best support them. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before starting—we can begin wherever you are.

In addition to individual therapy, I provide psychological evaluation services and mental health letters of support for gender-affirming care. My goal is to provide compassionate, respectful, and affirming care that recognizes each person’s experiences, strengths, and individual needs.

I am a supervised psychologist and receive primary and adjunctive clinical supervision from Jennifer Myers, Ph.D., WV Licensed Psychologist #926, and Jeffery “Jeff” S. Collins, MA, WV Licensed Psychologist #909. As a supervised psychologist, I practice exclusively in West Virginia and can accept most commercial insurances, but I cannot take insurance that does not allow for supervised billing. I am able to accept WV Medicaid, but specific details regarding coverage cannot be provided until contact is made with our office staff and the insurance verification process is completed.
