Finding a therapist who truly gets it — who you don’t have to explain yourself, your relationships, or your identity to — can feel like its own full-time job. With me, you can let that part go. I work with LGBTQ+ adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, family-of-origin wounds, life transitions, and the particular weight of moving through a world that isn’t always built for you. Whether you’re questioning, newly out, decades into your truth, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome here exactly as you are.
My approach is relational, which means the relationship between us is where a lot of the healing actually happens. So much of what we carry took shape in relationships — and being in a safe, affirming one is often how it starts to heal. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, without pressure to perform, filter, or have it all figured out. Sessions feel less like a clinical appointment and more like a real conversation, with plenty of humor alongside honesty, compassion, and total transparency.
I draw on parts work (Internal Family Systems), Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma, and an integrative blend of attachment, mindfulness, and neurobiology to help you understand yourself more fully and live more freely. Your identity is never the thing we’re here to fix — it’s simply part of the whole, complex, worthy person I get to work with. If you’ve been waiting for a space where all of you is welcome, I’d love to hear from you.
