Dr. Eric Kaiser is a cis-gender, gay man. He received his MD/PhD from the University of Iowa and then did his neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Later he completed a Headache Medicine fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine.
Dr. Kaiser provides welcoming and affirming care for LGBTQ+ patients seeking care for various headache disorders. He is currently the chair of the American Headache Society LGBTQIA+ Special Interest Section. He is involving with the American Academy of Neurology LGBTQ section and Penn Neurology’s Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism, Equity in Neurology committee. He has given lectures nationally on providing neurologic care for sexual and gender minorities. He has also published reviews on headache management for individuals who identify as transgender and gender diverse.
