Evan Kennedy He/Him, is cis-gender, queer gay male living in New York City. He is a Speech Language Pathologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he serves as an Associate in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He specializes in evaluation and care of the voice across the lifespan, and has special interests in professional voice management and gender-diverse voice and communication services.
Evan has published and presented at national meetings on the topic of gender diverse voice and communication training. His is passionate about celebrating queer and gender diverse communicative styles in his clients, while also providing the cutting edge of evidenced based intervention to help them achieve their goals. Beyond the therapy space, Evan has served as consultant to professional singers and other creatives on the effect of testosterone on voice change, helping folx plan for and navigate this change.
