Jamie Greenhut is a licensed acupuncturist specializing in trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and oftentimes needle-less acupuncture. She practices out of Wildlight Yoga on the third floor of the Portage Arts Lofts building in NW Chicago, Portage Park. She identifies as queer and neurodivergent.
Her approach to treating others has been shaped by unpleasant experiences as a “needle sensitive” student and patient, culminating in a style of acupuncture that is gentle, collaborative, and intuitive. She is an NCBAHM certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and member of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists. She does not currently accept insurance, but can provide a superbill. HSA/FSA cards are accepted at her practice.
Originally from Florida, Jamie now lives in Chicago with her wife Nina, their dog Beast Boy, and two cats, Binx and Blue Eyes White Dragon. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing video games, being out in nature, and reading old detective novels.
