If you relate to my profile and want to work with me, send me an email or visit my website. My specialty areas include relationship concerns (with partners, family, friends, coworkers, etc.), trauma, identity exploration and development (LGBTQ2S+, disabilities, etc.), and neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD). Emotional discomfort should be guiding, not debilitating. Sometimes we spend so much energy accommodating the people around us, we forget to ask, “what do I want?” My aim is to use therapies that are empowering and help you to reclaim your story.
During my 10+ years of practice as a therapist (and as someone who believes in life-long learning), I have been honored to participate in LGBTQ+ affirming workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as facilitate process groups for LGBTQ-identifying college students. During my tenure at The Ohio State University, I organized departmental participation in pride festivities over the summer, because I understand that representation matters. Further, in order to increase access to gender-affirming care, my practice offers free evaluations and letters of support for gender-affirming surgery to all existing clients.
I most enjoy working with clients who are unlearning people-pleasing, who want to get unstuck from frustrating cycles, and would like to escape the pitfalls of building healthy relationships. I strongly believe that all aspects of our life are improved when we learn to reject the mold and lead our most authentic lives.
If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to schedule a free, low-pressure consultation using my website. During this time, we can get to know each other and discuss your goals for therapy in a virtual meeting. This is an opportunity to get your questions answered and make sure we are a good fit!
