Welcome—You Belong Here.
If you’ve ever had to “vet” a therapist before trusting them with your story, I hope this profile saves you some of that work.
Before anything else, I want you to know this: I’m a biracial, cisgender heterosexual man and a proud ally. I provide a place where you never have to wonder whether you’ll be accepted before you speak. I welcome LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC clients, and people across the full spectrum of consensual relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, and kink. Here, you never have to minimize, defend, or explain who you are—you are welcome exactly as you are.
If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you’re feeling tired… not just physically, but soul-tired.
Maybe you’re the one everyone leans on, and you’re mentally exhausted from always being “the strong one.” Maybe your brain feels like it has 50 tabs open and you can’t tell which one is making all the noise. You might be stuck in your head, replaying a conversation from three days ago, doomscrolling at midnight, or bracing for a worst-case scenario that hasn’t even happened yet. Maybe you feel lonely in a room full of people, disconnected from your partner, your family, your faith, or the version of yourself that you used to know. Maybe you’re running on fumes—showing up, smiling, getting through the day—while feeling burnt out, checked out, numb, and wondering, “Why can’t I just get it together?” Or maybe you’re carrying the added weight of moving through a world where you’ve had to question whether you’ll be accepted, understood, or safe because of who you are.
Whatever brought you here—whether it’s grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, burnout, perfectionism, or a difficult life transition—I want you to know:
You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. You don’t need to be perfect—or even okay—to begin.
Therapy with me is a space where your pain, confusion, and exhaustion are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I see you as a whole person with a story that deserves to be heard. Together, we’ll create space to talk honestly about your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck—without worrying about being judged.
In addition to my clinical training, I bring life experiences that allow me to support others with empathy and authenticity. I understand despair in a way that allows me to sit with others without judgment. I have learned difficult lessons about intimacy and relationships. I know what it looks like to rebuild. And I have developed resilience through endurance.
My commitment to affirming care extends beyond the therapy room through my work with Project THRIVE, supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, people living with HIV (PLHIV), military members, veterans, and other historically underserved communities. That work has reinforced something I believe deeply: people do better when they don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
Your past and present circumstances do not have to define your worth. Whatever challenges you’ve faced, I believe they can become a foundation for growth, purpose, and lasting change. My hope is to help you recognize the strength you’ve already demonstrated, discover new meaning in your experiences, and move forward with greater clarity, courage, and intention.
As the African proverb reminds us,
“One does not carve a tall statue without resting one’s hand on something.”
Everyone needs some support. If you’re ready—or even just curious—I would be honored to be that for you.
You’ve already taken a courageous step by being here. Let’s take this next one together.
