Kimana LeMaster, LPC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor providing telehealth therapy throughout Louisiana and Georgia, with in-person sessions available in the Greater New Orleans area. She specializes in religious and spiritual abuse recovery, LGBTQ+ identity work, and non-traditional relationships including kink, BDSM, polyamory, and ethical non-monogamy. She also works with individuals and couples exploring alternative spirituality and pagan practice.
As a lesbian in a long-term marriage who has navigated her own healing from religious trauma, Kimana brings both lived experience and clinical skill to her work. She understands firsthand what it means to rebuild a sense of self after leaving harmful belief systems, and she creates a space where clients are never asked to choose between their identity and their healing.
Kimana’s clinical approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with narrative and person-centered approaches woven throughout. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Her undergraduate background in World History and World Religions informs her deep understanding of the spiritual landscapes her clients navigate.
She works with individuals, couples, and poly relationship constellations, offering affirming, non-pathologizing care to LGBTQIA+ communities, kink and BDSM practitioners, polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous people, and those recovering from religious or spiritual abuse.
