My work is very relational and collaborative. My clients are often looking for a space where they feel heard, seen, and understood and that is the kind of space I work to cultivate with clients. I specialize in helping adults with interpersonal trauma and relational challenges. Additionally, I work with clients who are seeking therapy for anxiety management, identity exploration, and LGBTQIA+ support. As a member of the queer community, I feel passionate about providing a trustworthy, safe space for all my client’s identities. Clients have shared that through our work together they feel less burdened by their trauma, their self-advocacy and interpersonal dynamics improve, and they gain new insight into their emotions and anxieties while learning to manage them.
My practice is rooted in inclusivity and honoring the unique identities, backgrounds, and experiences each client brings. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where all identities and bodies are valued and respected. Throughout my work, I maintain a trauma-informed, HAES-informed and culturally responsive space for my clients.
Throughout my practice, I utilize an attachment lens and systems perspective to better understand the beliefs, anxieties, social systems, and patterns shaping your life and relationships. Together, we’ll explore these dynamics with compassion and curiosity as you work towards healing & growth.
The framework I use integrates the following:
• Elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work
• Skill development for coping, regulation & relational awareness
• Mentalization-Based Narrative Exposure Therapy (MBNET)
