As a LGBTQIA+ affirming trauma and sex positive therapist, my aim is to create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions can explore their trauma-related concerns and sexual well-being. I am committed to understanding and respecting the unique experiences and challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing a supportive environment for their healing and growth. I specialize in helping individuals navigate the intersection of trauma and sexuality. I am trained in trauma-focused modalities, such as dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which allow me to address the impact of trauma on sexual well-being and relationships. I strive to create a holistic approach to healing that recognizes the profound connection between trauma and sexuality. I work with individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions within the LGBTQIA+ community who have experienced trauma and seek support in their sexual journeys. This includes individuals who have experienced sexual assault, relationship trauma, gender dysphoria, body image concerns, sexual shame, and intimacy challenges. I extend my services to individuals across the gender spectrum, non-monogamous relationships, and those exploring kink and BDSM dynamics. Additionally, I extend my support to individuals who navigate intersectional identities, such as people of color, religious minorities, and differently abled individuals. I offer a compassionate and understanding space for individuals navigating gender dysphoria and body image concerns. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their unique experiences, validating their gender identity and body autonomy. Through therapy, we aim to cultivate self-acceptance, develop coping strategies, and promote body positivity. I also provide guidance on navigating transitions, accessing resources, and enhancing self-care practices.
