Hi all! I’m Nick, a queer, gay psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) who is deeply passionate about serving in the field of LGBTQ+ healthcare. Working with this population is a root cause of entering this field, guided by my experience before working in healthcare in the non-profit sector; particularly with transgender youth. I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people and communities.

While earning my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Johns Hopkins University, graduating with honors from Sigma Theta Tau, I have worked in an array of inpatient, outpatient, crisis stabilization, and emergency psychiatric settings across the lifespan. I am happy to have supported people from the age of 5 through 90, enjoying and honoring the experiences of each of my patients while having the privilege of watching them grow and heal. I have completed internships with numerous organizations supporting LGBTQ+ rights, spanning from healthcare, social support, to legal rights.

I am committed to using my lived experiences to promote and provide LGBTQ+ affirming care.
