Rachel is a certified full-spectrum doula based in Brooklyn. Rachel’s journey to birthwork began at the age of three when her fascination with her mother’s pregnancy led her to explain placentas to a stranger in line at the grocery store. Her interest in pregnancy and birth only continued to grow from there, and she went on to train as a doula, manage a perinatal education center, and earn an MPH in reproductive and family health.
Rachel’s goal is to ensure that expecting and new parents feel supported as they begin the momentous transition to parenthood. She takes pride in being a calming presence and compassionate, non-judgmental ear for her clients. As a queer person herself, Rachel is passionate about working with families in LGBTQ+ community, and is committed to providing affirming care for all birthing people. When Rachel is not working, you can find her walking with her chihuahua, Edie, attempting a new baking challenge, or listening to pop culture podcasts.
