I am a queer, nonbinary woman, who is a neurodivergent Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing LGBTQIA+-affirming, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, young adults (ages 8–35), and caregivers in NY and MA (virtual).
My practice centers anti-oppressive, culturally responsive care and a neurodiversity-affirming lens. I work with LGBTQ+ youth and adults navigating gender identity exploration, coming out, family dynamics, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), grief, and major life transitions. I support clients seeking identity-affirming therapy that honors autonomy, consent, and lived experience — without pathologizing queerness or neurodivergence. My approach integrates narrative therapy, expressive arts therapy, play therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, ARC (Attachment, Regulation & Competency), and trauma-informed play therapy. I specialize in working with creative, sensitive, and justice-oriented youth and young adults who want therapy that feels collaborative and engaging rather than rigid or clinical.
LGBTQ+ education and training includes:
– Trans* Health Training – Brown Alpert Medical School & TGI Network of RI
– Intersectional Authenticity with LGBTQ+ Clients
– Cultural Humility + Motivational Interviewing with LGBTQIA+ clients
– Fundamentals of Therapy with LGBTQ Clients
– Ongoing CE in suicide risk assessment, trauma treatment, IFS, and somatic practices
I have experience advocating alongside clients in schools and healthcare systems, including support with gender-affirming care access and school accommodations. I aim to create therapy spaces where LGBTQIA+ clients feel seen, respected, and empowered — not explained, defended, or translated.
