I’ve been supporting my community since 2010 through direct LGBTQ community advocacy, clinical counseling, and program management. During this time I’ve supported adolescents, young adults, and families working with a variety of issues including family struggle, substance use, coming out, communication, depression, relationship and dating issues, anxiety, life adjustments, and more, as well as managing trauma around systemic oppression. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from New York University, and am licensed in the State of New York.
I received continuing education and training through WPATH, the LGBTQ Health Education Network through Fenway, presented at the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference, served on trans advisory boards in the Bronx and NY state, and involved in several research studies on supporting trans youth. It’s with care and intention that I continue to work and receive training to better serve my community.
