Growing into the person you want to be can be challenging— and sometimes scary! Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or someone you love, an external guide can be a valuable tool. I am proud to partner with you in this journey as we navigate whatever has brought you here.
I’m Sage, and I am a social worker, advocate, life coach, and human being living in Delaware, USA. I have been working in mental health and human services since 2016. I have more than 3 years of experience following the completion of my Master’s in Social Work from Widener University, and earned my formal LCSW in 2024. My educational and professional journey has provided me the opportunity to work with survivors of trauma and interpersonal violence, as well as families, adolescents, and individual adults. I now offer virtual and in-person therapy or therapeutic-coaching through a humanistic and relational lens. I also offer in-person retreats and community-building events, and can be contacted for trainings or workshops. My goals are: providing equitable, accessible support and building individual and community resilience, with an individualized and accomodating lens.
Identity
I am a white, non-binary, queer, disabled, and fat individual who uses they/them pronouns.
My values and work are progressive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA-affirming, fat-positive and poly/ENM/SW/kink-friendly. My practice is a safe space for folks feeling vulnerable.
I am also a human being, and will occasionally disclose relevant information about myself if it impacts your treatment.
Modalities
I am informed and comfortable with a variety of therapeutic models, including :
Relational/Attachment Therapy Models
FFT (Functional Family Therapy)
IFS (Internal Family Systems)
EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
Specializations
My educational background and work history have focused on trauma, human sexuality, and relationships.
I now specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their internal and external systems. I am especially open to individuals who identify as or are in relationship with someone who is queer. I often describe myself as helping someone “navigate relationships with themselves and with others.”
