I left this appointment feeling very frustrated and unheard. I was very uncomfortable with how my weight was addressed and felt like my concerns were quickly attributed to this without a thoughtful discussion or consideration of other possible explanations. I felt extremely judged. I find it frustrating that this provider provides themselves on projecting inclusivity, but I did not feel heard respected. I would much rather receive legitimate authentic compassionate patient centered care than gestures that feel performative. If a provider wants to serve LGBTQ patients and other marginalized communities that commitment should be reflected, and how patients are listened to respected and cared for throughout the visit.
There were also other comments made such as “oh all trans women do A)B) C)” Extremely generalizing especially when this person is not a member of that community….Bizarre
Do yourself a favor and avoid this ‘physician’
She is the best ive ever had/ she is accurate and helped me alot !
