I am a Licensed Master Social Worker providing telehealth therapy with a strong commitment to inclusive, affirming, and client-centered care. I work with individuals across diverse identities and life experiences, including those within the LGBTQ+ community, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on understanding the impact of systemic, relational, and identity-based stressors. I support clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and patterns of behavior that feel difficult to change, including habits that impact daily functioning, motivation, or emotional well-being. I also work with individuals experiencing identity exploration, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I recognize the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals may face, including minority stress, family rejection, internalized stigma, and barriers within healthcare systems. I am committed to providing affirming care that respects each client’s self-identified gender, sexuality, and lived experience. This includes using inclusive language, supporting identity exploration without assumption or pressure, and actively working to reduce harm that can occur in non-affirming environments.
In addition to psychotherapy, I integrate core social work values by helping clients access resources, navigate systems, and advocate for themselves when needed. My work often bridges emotional support with practical guidance, particularly for clients who benefit from both insight and actionable change.
My goal is to collaborate with clients in a way that fosters autonomy, resilience, and a stronger sense of self, while honoring the full complexity of their identities and experiences.
