I am passionate about working with teenagers and families as they navigate these years of growth and change. This time can be both exciting and challenging, and I am honored to be invited into this space with my clients. I take a down-to-earth, empathetic, and energetic approach in my therapy. I have been told by many of individuals I work with, that I am easy to talk to and create a comfortable, judgement free space to explore issues related to identity, self-worth, depression, and more. I believe every human has the basic need and desire to be known and valued, and I strive to provide this place of belonging for my clients.

I have experience working in the areas of depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, oppositional behaviors, and trauma. I work with individuals, families, and groups. I recognize the value of the family system in a teenager’s life and invite parents to be involved in their child’s therapeutic process.

I take a creative and supportive approach with my clients and we can take sessions outside for walks, incorporate music, or create something together. I have experience working in mental health residential services, schools, and juvenile justice settings which equip me to work effectively with individuals and families facing a broad spectrum of issues.

I work to create a safe and inclusive environment for individuals across the spectrum of age, race, gender, ability, and sexual orientation. I offer
specialized care and treatment for teens/families and specifically individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. I offer inclusive individual and group services to meet specific mental health needs that exist within the LGBTQIA+ populations. I recognize the systemic oppression that exists and often causes harm to members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and I am a committed practitioner and human to challenging my own biases and creating safe spaces for marginalized populations.
