Hello! I am a White/Hispanic/Latinx Demi-Pansexual Ciswoman. I have been working in the mental health field since 1997, and have focused my practice on providing affirming LGBTQIA++/SOGIE (sexual orientation, gender identity/expression) support since that time. I am dedicated to continuing to provide up to date, and expansive services to my clients, and participate in yearly continuing education in order to stay informed and in a place of growth and learning. I have trained with Gender Odyssey, TransFamilies, PESI LGBTQ+ Mental Health Conferences, Have Heart Gender Affirming workshops and multiple others. I co-created and lead queer youth-focused art therapy groups in community mental health settings, and was a participating provider in the GALAP (Gender Affirming Letter Access Project) in order to decrease barriers in gender affirming care. I have been writing Gender Affirming Care Advocacy letters for over 5 years. I strive to provide all of my clients with individualized and liberating counseling services.

I believe in attuning to my clients through the use of curiosity, compassion, and humor. I see therapy as a tool for reconnecting each of us with our innate strengths and clarifying our goals. In our work together we will examine messages you have received across your lifetime and decide where they fit into your personal world view now. My practice is collaborative, and informed by person-centered, evidence-based, and feminist/Queer theory. I incorporate findings from neuro-psychology, humanistic, and systems perspectives and believe your therapy should be a co-created experience.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults (ages 14 and up). Areas of focus I often explore with clients include relationships, identity development, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ identity, Poly and kink-informed . I have a relational styIe, and believe in life-span development. I am honored to support my clients as they navigate change.
