I am both a Social Worker and a Psychologist in California. Training as a social worker and in psychology allows me to have a deeper understanding of a person in their environment and who they are in context to families and systems they engage with, as well as the individual development that may have influenced where they have arrived. I have worked in community mental health, correctional facilities such as prisons and jails, and enjoy working with people in private practice working to better their life in some way. I strongly believe that we all have strengths that sometimes we discount or go untapped when we are in dark places. It is my pleasure to work with people to uncover those strengths, harness them, and utilize them to live rich, fulfilling lives.

I am a WPATH GEI SOC 8 Certified Member which means that I have taken extensive additional coursework and education and passed an examination related to the WPATH Standards of Care. I have taken several continuing educational seminars, units and attended numerous conferences to better understand how I can serve the gender minority community and be the best therapist I can be serving transgender people.
