Hi, I’m Tyler, a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in New York. I am a queer, trans, nonbinary therapist and clinical supervisor. I am a clinical member of AAMFT, and their Queer & Trans Advocacy Network. I have ten years of clinical experience working with trans and gender diverse individuals, couples & families. I also specialize in trauma therapy, particularly for systemic and relationship violence & abuse. I am trained in a variety of trauma treatment modalities. I currently work as the Clinic Director at Syracuse University’s Couple & Family Therapy Center.

Our clinic is a training clinic within SU’s Marriage & Family Therapy program, which features the Gender Expansive Support Team (GEST). GEST provides a unique opportunity for graduate students who want to gain training and experience working with individuals, couples, and families with a transgender/gender-expansive experience. Any trans or gender diverse person reaching out for therapy or letters of support would be assigned to a graduate student therapist that is a part of GEST. Our clinic’s therapy services are free of charge and are accessible to anyone residing in New York state.
