Hi! I’m Aneesah, a therapist dedicated to helping adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate anxiety, identity development, life transitions, relationship challenges, and school or career stress. My practice is deeply rooted in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, ensuring that every client feels genuinely seen, understood, and valued for exactly who they are.
I became a therapist because I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to show up authentically, without fear of judgment. Representation matters deeply to me, and I am passionate about creating inclusive spaces where marginalized and underrepresented voices are heard and celebrated. Clients often describe my approach as calm, supportive, and genuinely caring. We will work collaboratively to explore your story, honoring my core belief that when individuals feel safe to embrace their full selves, they not only transform their own lives but contribute to more compassionate communities.
In our remote sessions, I draw from Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-informed practices. We will focus on your strengths to build resilience and self-awareness. My ultimate goal is to empower you to better understand your emotions, trust your inner wisdom, and navigate life’s challenges with self-compassion. Together, we can help you leave therapy feeling grounded, capable, and confidently aligned with the life you envision for yourself.
