I am an out transgender, genderqueer, genderfluid. pansexual, and queer therapist.
I am an independently licensed professional counselor eligible to see clients in Florida (LMHC), Colorado (LPC), Montana (LCPC), Oregon (LPC), Kentucky (LPCC), Iowa (LMHC), and Vermont (telehealth as LCMHC).
I co-facilitate 2 regular monthly consultation group for mental health providers serving trans and gender diverse clients. I am a member of WPATH, USPATH. TPATH, and support the informed consent model. I am a member of the nationwide and Florida branch of the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities. I have completed hundreds of hours of training to build my knowledge and competence beyond my lived experience. Additionally, I’ve given trainings to providers and the public at the local, state, national, and international levels regarding gender identity and the intersections of our experiences. I regularly provide individual and group consultation for professionals seeking to provide knowledgeable and competent care to trans and gender diverse clients.
I curated my grad school experience to focus on transgender issues from careers to formal assessment, to studying the experiences of trans men during pregnancy. I had the good fortune to serve my LGBTQIA+ siblings over my year-long fieldwork experience and continue to build that experience in my own private practice.
In my practice clients will find a warm, affirming, and safe(r) environment. My practice has an anti-discrimination policy modeled after that of Hate Has No Home Here, which also includes office policies to handle acts of hate, aggression, or discrimination within the practice.
