I’m Alyson Hendry (she/her), a bilingual (English-Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of experience, and a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am committed to providing holistic, trauma-informed care to clients of all ages. My private practice focuses on supporting clients with goals related to speech, language, voice, executive function, and social language. I also offer non-clinical communication coaching for individuals seeking to enhance clarity and confidence in leadership, interviews, presentations, meetings, negotiations, and conflict resolution. All services are available via telehealth (globally available for communication coaching, and in Kentucky, New Jersey, California, Texas, Missouri, Arizona, Colorado, and Michigan for speech therapy). I offer in person appointments in Louisville, KY.
I aim to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for all neurotypes, and affirm all cultural and gender identities. As a practitioner, I understand the importance of meeting people where they are, honoring their strengths, and guiding them toward their unique communication goals. Our words and voices are extensions of ourselves, and my goal is to support you in developing your strongest and most authentic communication skills.

I personally understand the challenges of navigating healthcare systems, particularly as an advocate and caregiver for my wife, who sustained a spinal cord injury in 2019. This experience has deepened my empathy for LGBTQIA+ and disabled individuals, as well as their caregivers. I am passionate about making care accessible, equitable, and affirming for all.
In my free time, you can find me enjoying the outdoors—whether gardening, reading in a hammock, or riding alongside my wife on their adaptive trike, with our dog by my side.
If you’re looking for a speech-language pathologist who is dedicated to supporting your communication goals in a holistic and affirming way, I’d love the opportunity to work with you.
