I have lived and professional experience with LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kink, and neurodiverse issues and communities. I have participated in Diversity & Inclusion committees while working for a large mental health provider and developed and administered trainings in this setting educating on transgender care. I have advocated for inclusion of trans/queer and neurodivergent specific education within my graduate program and participated in the University’s Counselors for Social Justice advocacy group. I regularly seek out further education opportunities to continue to expand my awareness and skills for working with these groups. I have 4 years experience counseling this population.
