I am a Black, neurodivergent, cisgender woman, I provide trauma-informed, identity-affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ clients across Alabama. My work centers on creating inclusive spaces, especially for individuals in rural communities who may struggle to access affirming care. My personal and professional commitment to LGBTQ+ is rooted in love and lived experiences. As the sister of a gay Black man, I’ve witnessed firsthand the resilience it takes to navigate identity, family, and belonging in environments where support is often lacking. This has profoundly shaped how I show up for my clients, with warmth, cultural responsiveness, and unwavering respect for each person’s truth. I work with LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and parents navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, identity development, and relational challenges. My approach integrates narrative, somatic, and strengths-based tools and is grounded in justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Outside of therapy, I advocate for increased access to affirming mental health resources in the South and co-create healing spaces rooted in community, storytelling, and self-determination. Every session with me is a collaborative, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.
