I’m David Namir, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker in private practice serving adults in Little Rock, Arkansas. I’ve been providing psychotherapy since 2011 after earning my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
As a gay man, I understand the importance of providing an affirming, culturally responsive environment where LGBTQ+ clients can feel genuinely seen, respected, and understood. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities and strive to create a space where authenticity, safety, and trust support meaningful personal growth.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, self-esteem, and other challenges. Together, we work to understand unhelpful patterns, build effective coping skills, and create lasting change aligned with each client’s values and goals.
I am committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and am a member of the Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA), allowing me to stay current with research and best practices in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and related conditions. My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized care that helps clients move beyond simply managing symptoms toward building a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
