Hello! My name is Jenna Landry and I am a queer, nonbinary clinical therapist in Minneapolis, MN. I provide child, adolescent, and adult therapy at Dandelion Spirit Psychotherapy, I am currently pre-licensed clinical social worker and practice under the supervision of Maggie Druschel, LICSW. I work with youth ages 5-18 and adults who are looking for support managing symptoms and expressions of interpersonal, generational, and systemic trauma and emotional upheaval. I particularly delight in work with young folks and their loved ones who are looking for support in navigating the emotional and relational complexities of being in the world as a trans or gender-expansive person.
My approach to therapy is relational, client-led, and queer and neurodivergent affirming. My approach also wrestles with the ways that systemic oppression within the mental health field has impacted communities historically targeted for marginalization and exclusion. I use somatics, parts-work (IFS), polyvagal theory, attachment theory, play and art in sessions, depending on the age, needs, and wants of the individual I’m working with. I am trained in SMART and Narrative Exposure Therapy as well.
