Creating a safe and affirming space for adolescent and young adult clients is extremely important to Kaleigh — especially for folks that are neurodiverse and/or in the LGBTQIA+ community. They believe you are the expert in your story and that you deserve to feel comfortable and in control of your narrative. When you step into Kaleigh’s office, you will find no shortage of fidget tools and activities used as aids to allow you to feel grounded and engaged in your session. They encourage you to come as you are and prepare to be radically respected.
Kaleigh’s areas of work include depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ issues. They use a strengths-based approach to support clients with increasing self-esteem, reclaiming personal identity, managing life stressors, developing boundaries, and improving emotional regulation and expression. They are informed in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and systems-related therapies.
As an Indy native, Kaleigh can be found exploring new museum exhibits, thrifting, and sipping lattes at local coffee shops around the Circle City. In their free time, Kaleigh enjoys cooking, playing board games, tending to far too many houseplants, and spending time with their partner and two dogs.
