I consider it a privilege to sit in the counseling space with another person contemplating who they are and the process of expressing that person to a world that can be, at times, sadly rejecting of who they are. As a transgender woman I can identify with the struggle of questioning, coming out, experiencing rejection, and internalized transphobia But I can also say that I know what it feels like to accept myself and how much more vivid life is when, perhaps for the first time, you are willing to love the person you are. I know that a part of the reason why I was able to see my journey through to was through the care and help of my own therapists. It is so special to me that I can continue that legacy within counseling to create a safe and inviting space for all individuals.
I offer couples counseling services that is sex-affirming/ poly/ kink positive, gender affirming letters for individuals in the state of Illinois, transition support counseling, and religious trauma counseling.
