I am an OB/Gyn physician and I have dedicated myself to expanding my abilities to serve the needs of my patients. As such, I have taken CME courses in a variety of health care areas in order to provide evidence-based, judgement-free, high-quality care for those in need. I have recently expanded into gender affirming care, including hormone therapy, as well as PrEP provision and treatment of HIV+ folks. These areas are still new to me and the research is still developing so I pride myself on seeking answers if I do not have them and keeping my patients in the loop with plans and expectations. I provide telehealth medicine via video calls that are HIPAA-compliant in order to reach those who otherwise could not get to our clinic. On social media I am known for my advocacy in reproductive health such as abortion care but I also use my platform to tell the world that people can get pregnant, not just cisgender women. Since beginning to practice in Alabama, I have allied with the LGBTQ+ organization The Knights and Orchids Society (www.tkosociety.org) and am a trusted resource for their clients’ health care needs. I believe I create a warm and welcoming health care experience and am honored to serve everyone in need of high-quality, compassionate care.
