Dr. Nicole Hedrick (she/her), JD, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and former civil rights attorney. She helps individuals ages 17 and up with depression, anxiety, trauma, major life transitions, identity exploration, and burnout. Dr. Hedrick aims to reduce symptoms and to explore the root cause of the problem for sustained wellbeing. Her approach is warm, culturally informed, and creative. As needed, she weaves holistic healing practices, such as mindfulness techniques, into evidence-based approaches.
Dr. Hedrick provides affirming care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from diverse populations. As a former civil rights attorney, she has a deep understanding of the role of stigma and discrimination in creating distress.
As a Harvard Law School graduate and former trial attorney, Dr. Hedrick also is uniquely qualified to help attorneys and busy professionals with mental health, especially as it relates to workplace stress. For example, she helps to treat and prevent burnout.
Dr. Hedrick is a PSYPACT provider who offers online therapy in 40+ states. She does not currently accept insurance.
