Sara Gillooly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with adults that often find themselves feeling “too sensitive” and insecure in their relationships. She helps clients finally achieve the sense of safety they’ve longed for in their relationships with themselves and others. As a queer-identified therapist with ADHD, her work is LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirming. From her own lived experience as a neurodivergent queer woman, she is incredibly aware of the connections between identity and mental health while navigating a cis-heteronormative, neurotypical world. She has extensive experience working with trans and nonbinary folks, people across the sexuality spectrum, as well as clients with ADHD and ASD. Her style of therapy is rooted in a warm, collaborative relationship built over time that centers a sense of curiosity and mindfulness, leading to insight, awareness, personal change, self-empowerment and growth.
