T. “Scotty” Spurlin is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who works with older children, adolescents, and adults seeking support for a wide range of mental health concerns. A native Arkansan, Scotty brings over a decade of nursing experience across both rural and urban healthcare settings to his practice.
He is committed to providing compassionate, affirming, and nonjudgmental care in a space where patients can feel safe discussing their identities, relationships, and lived experiences. Scotty is especially dedicated to creating a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and others whose identities or experiences may not always feel understood within traditional healthcare settings. He works collaboratively with patients to better understand their symptoms, explore treatment options, and develop care plans that align with their goals and values.
Scotty believes that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental healthcare, regardless of geographic location, socioeconomic status, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. He is currently accepting new patients.
