I love helping women learn how to move from self-criticism to compassion, rebuild their confidence, and let go of the insecurities that make it so hard for them to see their worth. Therapy with me is a relaxed, collaborative process that relies on our shared knowledge. I honor you as the expert on you and view my experience as a tool to help you through this process. I blend my background in neuroscience research, psychotherapy training, and holistic wellness practices to offer you a modern, integrative approach to therapy. I opened my practice for you-the real, authentic, human, imperfect, incredible you. Creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported just as you are today is important to me. You don’t have to pretend or hide parts of you here. If you’re ready to find your way back home to yourself, I am ready to support you. Let’s talk!
In and out of the therapy room, I am a feminist thinker. I believe that in order to provide care that is truly comprehensive, talking about our mental health and experiences while acknowledging the impact of the society and systems we all live, work, and play within is a necessity. Feminist theory invites that into the work and encourages us to unpack those outside influences. Not exploring this means we may miss the root cause of unhelpful beliefs if someone is attributing systemic failures as personal ones.
I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, pet parent, and life-long learner. If you ran into me at a party, I’d probably start a conversation about the mind, dogs, or social justice (maybe even all three if my social battery is full). I’m becoming more of a homebody as I get older, so truthfully you’re more likely to catch me on the couch with snacks and reruns of The Office than at a party. I also love being in nature, enjoying the water, and spending time with family.
