Hi, I’m Cindy Brown (she/her)—a nurse practitioner with dual certifications in family practice (FNP-C) and psychiatric mental health (PMHNP-BC). I’ve worked in healthcare for 20+ years and now provide virtual care to patients in Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida through my practice, Differently Well.

I specialize in trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and neurodivergent-friendly care for individuals and families who may have felt unseen or dismissed in traditional settings. I’m here to offer a different kind of experience—one rooted in listening, safety, and deep respect.

As part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I understand the unique concerns and challenges that can come up in healthcare spaces. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to explain your identity or fear judgment—just show up as you are and get the care you deserve.

My services include mental health medication management, gender-affirming care, virtual urgent care, and ongoing primary care, all delivered through a lens of empathy and equity. I’ve completed training in LGBTQ+ cultural competency, trauma-informed care, and gender-affirming practices, and I’m committed to continuously learning and growing in this work.
