I am a pansexual, transgender man and Licensed Professional Counselor who is deeply committed to affirming, trauma-informed mental health care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, collaborative relationships where people are seen, heard, and honored for who they are. I understand firsthand the challenges, resilience, and complexity of navigating identity, transition, and belonging within and outside queer and trans spaces. This lived experience informs not only how I show up, but how I listen, validate, and advocate with my clients.
My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from trauma-informed, brain-based, and somatic therapeutic models. I incorporate art, mindfulness, and movement alongside evidence-based interventions such as DBT and client-centered therapy. I support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, internalized shame, self-esteem challenges, and those seeking deeper alignment with their authentic selves.
I have extensive training in gender-affirming care and regularly support clients seeking access to medical transition. This includes providing assessments and letters for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and gender-affirming surgeries using an informed-consent, collaborative model. I prioritize reducing barriers to care, respecting self-determination, and honoring each person’s lived knowledge of themselves.
My background includes two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Oregon, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Foster and Adoptive Family Therapy. I have 8+ years of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and LGBTQIA2S+ individuals across community mental health and private practice settings.
Above all, I believe that healing is not about “fixing” what’s wrong, it’s about reconnecting with what has always been wise, resilient, and whole within you. Therapy with me is a space to explore, question, feel, repair, and grow at your own pace.
If you’re looking for a therapist who approaches you with warmth, curiosity, and respect, I would be honored to support you.
