Stephanie Hartman, PT, DPT, PRPC, received her Doctorate from Columbia University in New York. At Columbia, she received advanced training in Orthopedics, Rehabilitation of Athletes, and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation which make up the cornerstones of her focus as a Physical Therapist.
Stephanie has received advanced certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation (PRPC) and specializes in pelvic floor conditions including men’s and women’s health, pre/peri/postpartum health, birthing preference plans, post-prostatectomy rehabilitation, and neurologic conditions including Parkinson’s and Multipile Sclerosis.
Stephanie is a trauma-informed provider and works with transgender patients throughout their transition process. She also has extensive training in:
- working with gender non-conforming individuals and people in “non-traditional” sexual relationships
- knowledge of hormone therapy and associated symptoms
- understands the unique gender affirming procedures an individual can choose to pursue and the rehab guidelines following those procedures
