I hold a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. I received my clinical training from the Los Angeles LGBT Center where I provided psychotherapy to individual, couples and groups from a diverse demographic. During my five years of training at the LGBT Center, I co-faciliated intensive outpatient recovery groups for those in early recovery, anger management and long-term recovery groups. I continued my education at the C.G. Jung Institute in West Los Angeles, and completed a two-year intensive program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the New Center for Psychoanalyis, where I curently serve on the Board of Directors and Chair the Diversities and Socio-Cultural Inequities Committee. I have extensive training (Levels 1 and 2) in the Trauma Resiliency Model and Community Resiliency Models, which I have also taught to nascent psychotherapists. In addition to being a clinican, I am also an academic and currently teach in the graduate counseling psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute since 2017. In my role as a professor, I have developed LGBTQ+ affirmative curriculum for courses in human sexuality and gay & lesbian relationship dyanmics LGBTQ+ affirmative psychology from a depth (Jungian) orientation. I also teach clinical practice and clinical process to nascent psychotherapists.
