My personal experiences with healthcare as a gay trans man motivated me to become a doctor so I could provide affirming care for my community. After training in Family Medicine at the University of Vermont, I did a fellowship in LGBTQIA+ Health at Fenway Health in Boston.
At Maplewood Family Practice I provide comprehensive primary care for people of all ages, and also offer integrated gender-affirming care, HIV PrEP and PEP, HIV primary care, and STI testing/treatment. Mental health, substance use, and pediatric/adolescent care are also part of my wheelhouse. Our practice welcomes LGBTQIA+ folks all of the time, and we also offer “Pride Time” clinics that have a special focus on care for the LGBTQIA+ community.
I aspire to provide care that is trauma-informed, body-positive, and kink-aware. Most importantly, I try to be responsive to my patients’ needs and feedback. Good primary care is a collaboration — I’m here to support you with respect, honesty, and humor.
I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality, the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
