Emme (they/them/theirs) is a white, Queer, neurodivergent, and Disabled person offering in-person and telehealth therapy services at Healing Pathways Psychotherapy. They primarily work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who want support to express “big feelings,” navigate life changes and challenges, cope with the stress of holding marginalized identity(s), and overcome the negative impacts of traumatic experiences, and empower caregivers with the skills and confidence to support their children during tough times. They also have extensive experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and LGBTQIA+ people/families of all ages. During therapy sessions, they often incorporate play, art, music, and movement as tools for self-expression and skill development. Emme has recieved additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT). People working with Emme can expect a highly collaborative relationship that incorporates their unique experiences, identities, relationships, communities, and values.
Emme also provides evaluations and letters of support for people of all ages seeking access to gender-affirming care.
