Queer, Mexican-American therapist (he/him) offering LGBTQ+-affirming telehealth across Texas for adults and older teens (16+). I’m a National Certified Counselor with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University, supervised by Dr. Tritia Finley, LPC-S, NCC. Training includes LGBTQ+-Affirming Cognitive & Behavioral Therapy through the Yale Mental Health Initiative (via the Pride Center of San Antonio).
My approach is trauma-informed, liberation-focused and neurodiversity-affirming. I integrate existential therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS-informed, mindfulness and somatic tools to reduce anxiety and burnout, process trauma/cPTSD, support ADHD/AuDHD, depression, identity development, relationships and life transitions.
Care is gender-affirming, culturally responsive and bilingual (English/Español) with evening availability and sliding-scale spots. I practice consent-based, harm-reduction care; create collaborative safety plans; and coordinate with community resources and medical providers. Values: cultural humility, body autonomy, rest, boundaries and joy.
