As a gay, licensed psychotherapist and the sole owner and operator of my private practice in Grand Blanc, Michigan, I am proud to provide affirming, inclusive, and identity-centered care to the LGBTQIA+ community. My practice is a safe and sacred space where every person is welcome and respected—without exception. Discrimination has no place here. Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, couple, or family, you will be met with compassion, dignity, and unwavering affirmation.
I work with clients ages 13 and up and specialize in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, gender dysphoria, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am deeply committed to helping people live as their most authentic selves and cultivate a sense of inner peace, self-worth, and empowerment.
As an out gay therapist, I bring lived experience to my work—alongside professional training and clinical expertise. I understand firsthand the complexities of navigating identity in a world that often marginalizes difference. This personal insight, combined with years of clinical practice, allows me to provide deeply empathetic and culturally competent care tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals.
I complete a minimum of 30 CEUs annually in LGBTQ+-specific topics to stay informed and effective in delivering best practices in affirmative care. I also frequently conduct mental health evaluations and provide letters of support for transgender individuals pursuing gender-affirming medical care, including hormone therapy and surgical procedures. My work in this area is grounded in respect, consent, and the belief that every person deserves access to safe and affirming healthcare.
Beyond the therapy room, I’ve volunteered with several LGBTQ+ service organizations in Southeast Michigan and have served in advisory and consulting roles for nonprofits focused on advancing affirmative care within the LGBTQ+ community. These experiences continue to inform and deepen my clinical work.
Therapy with me is collaborative, non-judgmental, and centered on your unique goals and values. Whether you’re navigating the coming-out process, working through grief or trauma, questioning your identity, or simply seeking a space to feel seen and supported, I’m here to walk with you—genuinely, skillfully, and without agenda. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
If you’re looking for LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy in Michigan—whether you’re local to Grand Blanc or seeking virtual care across the state—I’d be honored to support you on your path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
